Dr Shan performs minor procedures in dedicated and purpose-built operating theatres at Mayfair Specialist Centre, Gisborne Specialist Centre, and Fitzpatrick House. He is supported by specialist trained vascular sonographers and nurses to ensure the highest level of quality and safety for all procedures. This service provides increased choice and access for Dr Shan's patients, including for those who do not qualify for procedures in hospital. Both insured and uninsured patients are able to access this service. Out-of-pocket costs apply as outpatient procedures are not covered by health insurance.
